The City of Hawthorne is proud to celebrate a major investment in our communityโ€™s infrastructure!

Join us for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the completion of the SJRWMD REDI Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project and the Sand & Grit Removal Project. We are also excited to announce the launch of the Sewer Master Lift Station Project, which will provide important upgrades to lift stations throughout the City.

Together, these projects represent significant investments in Hawthorneโ€™s wastewater infrastructure, improving system reliability, strengthening our ability to serve residents and support future growth. We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with our community!

Attention City of Hawthorne Registered Voters:

Today is the final day to request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot from the Supervisor of Elections Office for the Hawthorne Election.

After today, voters can still request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot directly from the City Clerk by filling out the appropriate forms. The City Clerk will email the forms to the Supervisor of Elections Office to verify they were completed correctly. Once the forms are verified by the SOE Office, the requesting voter can pick up their ballot from the City Clerk at City Hall. All Vote-By-Mail Ballots must be returned to the City Clerk before 7:00PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
