Braxton Spicer came home with some hardware from the Junior High Nebraska Championship Meet on Saturday. He competed against the top junior high athletes across all classes in the state in the long jump, 100m, 200m, and 400m. Braxton medaled in two events, 5th in the 200m and 6th in the 100m. He also finished 9th in the 400m and 15th in long jump.

We're headed to Burke! Congratulations to the student-athletes who will be representing Hay Springs at the 2026 State Track & Field Championship at Burke Stadium in Omaha on Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, May 23rd.

Braxton Spicer will represent Hay Springs at the Nebraska Championship Meet on Saturday, May 16 in Gothenburg. He has qualified in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and Long Jump. Information about the meet, schedule, how to watch, and apparel are all included in the link to the website.
