Spraying/fogging typically takes place during the evening hours near sunset, but sprayings are weather depended and are subject to change. In the event of a schedule change due to weather we will update the community as soon as possible.

As mosquito spraying times approach, the Town of Hayden encourages residents to minimize standing water and tall grass around their properties to help reduce mosquito activity.

Let's get messy! This six-week wheel-throwing class is perfect for beginners and experienced potters alike. Learn foundational techniques like centering, pulling, and shaping clay, while more advanced students refine forms and explore new skills. Each session offers 3 hours of hands-on weekly guided instruction, and individual feedback in a supportive, community studio environment. This class is perfect for beginners!

$275/student includes all materials and tools.
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
Pieces will be fired at the end of the session and students will be notified when items are ready for pick up.

🌳 The Town of Hayden Tree Board administers the Tree Trimming Grant Program to promote public safety, protect private property, and improve the health and appearance of Hayden's urban forest. Grant funds are made available to property owners on a cost-share basis for the professional trimming or removal of trees that pose documented hazards or that meet other selection criteria established herein.

This program is funded through the Town of Hayden general fund or such other appropriations as the Town Council may designate. Awards are competitive and subject to available funding each cycle.

🗓 Applications must be the submitted to Town Hall by May 29th, 2026 at 5:00pm.

Property Eligibility:
• The tree must be located on private property within the incorporated limits of the Town of Hayden.
• Trees on public rights-of-way, Town property, or common areas managed by a homeowners association are not eligible.
• The property must have a current, valid address in Hayden.

Applicant Eligibility:
• The applicant must be the owner of record of the subject property at time of application.
• Property taxes must be current with no outstanding delinquencies.
• Prior grant recipients are eligible to reapply after a two-year waiting period per property.
• One application per property per grant cycle.

Tree Eligibility:
• Trees must be living or recently dead (within the current calendar year).
• Stumps already at ground level are not eligible.
• Trees planted within the past 12 months are not eligible unless they pose an emergency hazard.
