We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our recent retirement event. It was a great evening filled with stories, laughter, and well-deserved recognition.

We also want to thank all of our retired HFD members who joined us. It meant a lot to see so many familiar faces and to celebrate together as one department family.

🚒 April Training – Grain Bin Rescue 🚒
This month, our training focused on grain bin rescue, one of the most dangerous and time sensitive emergencies we could face in our rural community.
We were fortunate to have Safety and Security Consultation Specialists, LLC. bring their specialized rescue trailer, giving our members the opportunity to train hands on with both their equipment and our own. Crews practiced techniques for victim extrication, scene safety, and working efficiently in a high-risk environment.
While this is the type of call we hope we never have to respond to, it’s critical that we stay prepared and sharp. Training like this ensures that if the time ever comes, we’re ready to act quickly and safely.
