Tour Die Kapellen Bicycle Ride Saturday July 11th
** Public Safety Notice – Bicycle Ride Event this Saturday, July 11th**
Event: Tour Die Kapellen
This Saturday morning, a large group bicycle ride will take place, starting at the Shelter House in Municipal Park (112 Main St.).
Schedule:
6:45 AM – Announcements, National Anthem, and Invocation
7:00 AM – Riders depart on routes ranging from 30 to 100 miles
Approximately 250 to 300 cyclists will be riding throughout Ellis County, stopping at churches along the route. Cyclists will be on the following roads (Highway 40, US 183, Catherine Rd., Cathedral Avenue, Pfeifer Avenue, 280th Avenue, 240th Avenue, Antino Road), so we urge all drivers to exercise extra caution.

St. Ann’s Church – Walker, KS
St. Boniface Catholic Church – Vincent, KS
Our Lady Help of Christians – Antonino, KS
St. Anthony Church – Schoenchen, KS
Safety Reminders for Drivers:
Slow down when approaching cyclists
Pass only when it is safe
Give plenty of space when passing
Safety signage will be posted throughout the county.
