Hays Public Library The Hays Public Library provides extensive resources and programs for all ages! Hays Public Library isn't your usual library. Our Young Adult Dept.

We have programs for all ages that are educational and fun. When you think of a library you think of books, right? Well, HPL has large collections of audiobooks, music, video games, dvds and blu-rays, magazines, cd-roms, and foreign language resources as well as books. We also have Hoopla and OverDrive available so you can check out books on your tablets and e-readers. We have tons of programs for

children for early literacy, crafts, storytime, and general fun for the whole family. Through our Children's Dept you can also sign up for your child to be tutored with one of our many wonderful tutors! always has something fun going on. From crafts to video games there is always something to do in the afternoons at the Hays Public Library. Are you wanting to get in touch with your roots? Visit the Kansas Room! Our librarian will help you find what you need. Whether you are doing genealogy or researching Kansas history and Kansas authors, the Kansas Room is a quiet place for you. Every department has public computers for your convenience. The internet is free to the public, and you don't even need a library card! Let us be your #1 resource for everything you need. If we don't have it, we can get it. There is something for everyone at the library. Come see our friendly staff and find out for yourself!
