What a great start to the new KAMS year! A huge thank you to all of our families who joined us for Orientation and helped make today such a special day.

And to our students—thank you for moving in and taking this exciting first step in your KAMS journey! We’re so glad to have you here.

We also want to recognize the incredible teamwork across FHSU. From Housing and Dining to Admissions, Student Affairs, Facilities, IT, and all of the departments working behind the scenes, today was a seamless production from start to finish.

It truly takes a campus community working together to make days like today possible. We appreciate everyone who played a part!

The countdown is on! We're excited to welcome our newest KAMS students as Orientation Week gets underway.

📍 International Student Orientation begins: Monday, August 10
📍 Kansas Student Orientation begins: Wednesday, August 12

Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to meet classmates, connect with faculty and staff, explore campus, and prepare for an exciting year ahead.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by KAMS/AMS student Pinhe Chen, whose research has been published in Mathematics, a prestigious SCIE Q1-ranked international journal. This accomplishment represents the highest level of academic scholarship and is a testament to Pinhe Chen's dedication, curiosity, and commitment to advancing knowledge through research.

Having research accepted and published in a peer-reviewed international journal is a remarkable achievement for any scholar, and it is especially impressive at the high school and early college level. It was an honor to travel to Hiawatha High School for Signing Day and celebrate this exciting achievement with your families. Thank you for the warm welcome, support, and commitment to student success throughout this process.

A huge shoutout to Hiawatha High School for continuing to support and encourage students to pursue incredible academic opportunities. We are excited to see what the future holds for these outstanding students as they begin their journey with KAMS!
