The City of Hayti Nutrition Center is accepting applications for a full-time cook. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-1pm. Benefits include paid vacation/sick leave/holidays, insurance, and LAGERS pension plan. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled and can be picked up and returned to either the Nutrition Center or City Hall. No phone calls please and do not apply on Facebook.

Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium (MBRC) is honored to announce the Fatherhood First Program (FPP). The mission of the FFP is to improve child well-being by strengthening fathers through case management, skill-based education, and activities that promote healthy marriages, responsible parenting, and economic stability. Please see the recruitment flyer for the Fatherhood First Partnership Program attached. There is a QR code on the flyer which provides access to a recruitment form for the Fatherhood First Partnership (FFP) Program. After the form is completed and submitted, MBRC will schedule candidates for enrollment into the program. Some of the basic requirements for the program are that you are a father or father figure over 18 years of age, have a child 18 years old or younger and you live in the 5-county service area of Scott, New Madrid, Mississippi, Pemiscot or Dunklin. Specific county training locations will be announced to meet recruitment needs.

The contractors have hit a water line on Sanders and water is off from Swan Lake to Highway J. Repairs are being made and water will be back on as soon as possible.
