Sharing something from our rural site -- Thank you to Eastside Union School District for the opportunity to support local youth and families.

We're proud to be part of the Palmdale community and look forward to continuing to encourage and empower young people throughout the year!

🌞 What a wonderful way to kick off summer!

On June 5, our Palmdale Project Coordinator, Sylvia Garner, proudly represented Be A Mentor as a volunteer at Eastside Union School District's Summer Safe Passage event at Columbia Elementary School.

Volunteers gathered before dismissal to cheer on students and families as they headed into summer break, offering words of encouragement, celebrating graduates, and helping create a positive sendoff for the school year. 🎓☀️

Sylvia shared that one of the highlights of the day was receiving a surprise goodie bag from a grateful parent—a small but meaningful reminder of the impact that kindness and community involvement can have.

Thank you to Eastside Union School District for the opportunity to support local youth and families. We're proud to be part of the Palmdale community and look forward to continuing to encourage and empower young people throughout the year. 💙
