We will be distributing what few Farmers Market Coupon books we have the week of June 22 according to the following schedule. Applications will be taken upstairs at the Hayward site, at the Exeland and Stone Lake Centers and at the Winter Library for the Winter patrons. Please be aware that we were given only 29 coupons books (total) to be distributed across all 4 sites in the county. We have asked for more books but have not yet heard back. This means only a few lucky people will get them - we can't honor proxies and no mailing of books. You must come and apply in person. Be prepared to show proof of your income as we have to be more stringent with eligibility. Also, please don't ask for books if you don't think you will use all of the coupons. They track the return of the books and that affects what we receive from the government. Anyone who does not get a book can be put on a waiting list. We will call you if we do get any more coupon books. We are not happy about this either.
