- KASPER'S NO MORE - Castro Valley's popular hot dog spot is closed today and will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday, July 1) serving the same menu items / food with an updated name. CVN just confirmed via telephone that the manager Carmen and her daughter are taking over the business and will be known as "Karmen's" as of tomorrow. The previous owner is retiring and did not want to continue at that location, hence the name change. The Castro Valley Kasper's has been in business at 3300 East Castro Valley Boulevard for a number of years.

Reminder: When you need a notary, you must have Valid and Current ID. If expired, a Driver's License or California ID Card issued within 5 years is still good. Others will use a Passport. All of these are perfect.

If you don't have one of the above, there are options and choices to make.

I implore all Senior Citizens to have a California Senior ID Card. Unless, you have your USA Passport. This allows a notary to very easily complete your notary needs.

It's so common for me to receive a call or email for a notary need for a senior and when I ask if they have Current ID, I hear, "She/He doesn't drive ...... "

UGH ...... please do you best to either have a Senior ID Card or Valid Passport.
