🎨 Brushes & Brunch is coming up — and you won't want to miss it!

On Saturday, June 27 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, join the Hayward Arts Council and Hayward Area Historical Society for a creative FUNdraiser featuring a watercolor session led by visual artist and HAC board member Tia Farrell. No experience necessary — just bring your creativity!

Tickets are $50 and space is limited, so grab yours before they're gone.

The Junior Biz Kid Program is looking for youth ages 7–18 to showcase and sell their products at the Downtown Hayward Street Party!

📅 Thursday, June 18
🕔 5:00 – 9:00 PM
📍 Downtown Hayward

Participation is free, and accepted vendors receive a 10x10 tent, table, chairs, and tablecloth — at no cost. Only 10 spots available!

✅ Open to makers, resellers, and service providers

The Restaurants Care Resilience Fund is now accepting applications -- $5,000 grants available for eligible CA restaurants and caterers with 1-5 locations.

Who can apply:

→CA restaurants + caterers with 1-5 locations
→Apply for one location only
→Annual revenue under $3M
→PG&E or SoCalGas commercial customers

Starting tomorrow, May 22, through Monday May 25, they'll donate $100 from every vehicle sold to American Gold Star Mothers, a nonprofit led by mothers who have lost children serving our country.

They're also hosting a FREE community BBQ all weekend long , no purchase necessary, just come out and be part of it.

The Hayward Police Department is kicking off a new round of community meetings — and District 2 is up first.

Join HPD on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 PM at the Hayward Police North Resource Center (22701 Main Street) for a crime and safety update and open discussion on neighborhood concerns.

HPD has redrawn its patrol areas to align with the new City Council election districts. Not sure which district you're in? Check the interactive map at www.hayward-ca.gov/police-department
