Such a great conference at the Wisconsin Towns Association!! We enjoyed seeing so many of our current customers and meeting SO many new people. It was confirmed in several sessions that using a government accounting program is essential to our towns!! And in more than one session - presenters and our currents users confirmed that Marge Cloud Accounting was the one to use!! We were so busy!! We loved every minute!!! Marge Accounting software has the ability to electronically transmit your W-2s to the SSA and DOR! Check your inbox for our email that went out earlier this week. Biggest tasks are verification of your data (we give you the steps).

Who receives a 1099 is determined by the entity -- the type of business structure (LLC, etc.) and also by the type of work that they do.  Here is the IRS website that outlines the criteria.

We were proud to sponsor the WMCA Spring Training in Eau Claire. What a great Conference! We enjoyed seeing our customers and meeting new people! Did you miss it? WMCA is having their annual conference in August (and we'll be there)!
