Last Tuesday, May 21st was our last day of classes for this season. With pride and tears we said goodbye to our 4 seniors who are heading off to college. Jairo Hernandez, attending Cal State Hayward, David Contreras, attending Cal State Hayward, Michelle Curiel, attending UC Merced and Catalina Velasco, attending University of Redlands (not pictured here). We presented each one of them with certificates and small scholarships. We also acknowledged our beginner students who missed the least amount of days and always came prepared as follows: Jophiel Cervantes (not pictured); Alexa Salcedo; Daniel Salcedo; Anahi Salcedo; Marco Perez; Rafael Salcedo; and Omar Sanchez. We presented Russell Robinson with a certificate of appreciation for always being there for us and lastly but not least we acknowledged our teachers because without them we wouldn't have a program. A million thanks to Maestro Pablo Jaramillo (guitarron and Armonia teacher and pictured with his beautiful daughter Ximena), Maestro Adrian Hernandez (trumpet teacher), and maestro Eusebio Verdin (violin teacher). At the end we were surprised by one of our juniors, Alonso Contreras, who informed us that due to his excellent grades he was graduating early (skipped 12th grade)🤩. So we had 5 graduates in total. We are so very, very proud of our kids!!! Kudos to our parents too who make our program what it is. We will start the new season in September.
