Our Citizens Academy is a six-week, hands-on program for residents who want an inside look at local government, civic leadership, and the people keeping our community moving forward. Hazel Park residents and locally-based business owners are encouraged to apply.

We are at the HomeTown Huddle tonight to cheer on our Hazel Park Vikings Football Team. We plan to stay on the bench and leave it to the professionals. Have a great season team and Go Vikings!

Tomorrow, Hazel Park School District students will be returning for their first full day of class. 179 days of memories to be made. We wish students and teachers a great year and hope for few visits to the Principal's Office.
Driver's are reminded to be patient, slow down, and obey the law. We have unlimited demerits to hand out.

24 years ago today Ofc. Jessica Nagle Wilson was killed in the line of duty but not before incapacitating the suspect which prevented further death and injuries. We are wearing mourning bands today in memory of her sacrifice in protecting Hazel Park. Jessica is missed and our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who love and miss her every day. 💙
