The City of Hazen will be hosting its 21st annual Mammoth Pond Fishing Derby on Saturday June 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00p.m. for children 15 years of age and under and a fishing license is not required. We will be stocking the pond and prizes will awarded throughout the day with special prizes for those catching tagged fish. The City of Hazen will be purchasing the prizes and the Hazen Police Department will be cooking the Hot Dogs, with chips and a water that has been provided by local businesses as they do every year for us. Please keep the date in mind and bring your children and don't forget to bring your own fishing pole and bait!

UPDATE: SHE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!Be on the lookout for runaway child, Ni’yla Terry B/F about 4’4”-8”, 9 years old. Last seen at 7:45 am wearing a turquoise dress and has two puff balls in her hair. She got mad and ran away from her mom this morning. Please contact the Hazen Police Department if you see her.
