On the morning of Friday, June 5th, 2026, the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office executed multiple arrest warrants at 41 Wi******er Drive, located off Hinson Landing Road.
Timothy Waylon Taylor was arrested on warrants from three different law enforcement agencies. His charges include aggravated stalking, felony fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, willful obstruction of law enforcement, and a felony probation violation. The three agencies holding active warrants for Taylor are the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ware County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrants were executed at approximately 5:55 a.m. with no injuries or property damage reported. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Jeff Davis County Detention Center shortly after at 6:00 a.m.

Today, Sheriff Preston Bohannon had the pleasure of treating Ms. B (Bonita) and Mrs. Strom’s class to a special end-of-school-year celebration at Village Pizza!

Sheriff Bohannon, along with several deputies, enjoyed an afternoon full of pizza, laughter, hugs, and great fellowship with this amazing group of students and teachers.

The excitement on their faces said it all, they loved getting out and spending time with some of their favorite deputies!

Thank you for allowing us to share such a fun and meaningful lunch with you all. We always value the opportunity to connect with the youth in our community. 💙
