Back-to-School Clinic Day is scheduled for Monday, July 27 from 7:30-5:30PM at Jeff Davis Health Department. They can provide Form 3300 (Ear/Eye/Dental/Nutrition Form) and Form 3221 (Immunization Record), with no appointment needed.

Jeff Davis High School Perfect Attendance

A student must be present for two blocks each day of the school year in order to have Perfect Attendance for the year. Attendance has been linked to success in school, and we are proud of these students for showing up every day. Congratulations to these students for earning perfect attendance for the 25-26 school year!

The faculty and staff of Jeff Davis High School would like to congratulate and recognize the following students for being on the Semester "A" and "AB" Honor Roll for Spring 2026.

"A" Honor Roll - In order to be eligible for this Honor Roll, a student must have a 90 average or higher in each subject for the semester. "AB" Honor Roll - In order to be eligible for this Honor Roll, a student must have an overall average of 90 or higher with no grade below 85.

Report Cards have been stuffed and are in the mail for Spring 2026. You can always check your report card in your Infinite Campus account. Sign into Infinite Campus, select Documents, then select Report Card - Term 2.

If students are invited to summer school, they were contacted by their teacher and sent an email from Dr. Barber. There is also an invitation included in their report card.

School will begin again on August 7, 2026.

A big thanks to all of the JDH staff who work hard to get report cards stuffed.

It's been great couple of weeks to end the 25-26 school year! Thankful to be a Jacket!

✔️Zachary completed a model (puzzle) of the Titanic for Mr. Lovett.
✔️Lunch and Learns
✔️Students created "ecosystems in a bottle" in Environmental science class to study the biotic and abiotic factors necessary to create a healthy ecosystem.
✔️The Golden Jacket Club experienced many “firsts” on their end of year trip.
✔️Outdoor Speed Challenge in Physical Science class.
✔️Introduction to Business and Technology classes created Teacher Appreciation Flyers and then delivered them to their favorite teachers.
✔️Anatomy had a Dissection Day
✔️Forensics learned about Facial Reconstruction.
✔️Biology got to dissect a worm to celebrate finishing their EOC!
✔️Mrs. Lovett's class completed career projects.

✔️A lot of learning!

9th, 10th, and 11th Honors Day

Congratulations to these students on their many accomplishments! Thank you, parents and students, for all of your support and hard work to make JDHS such a special place.

Unfortunately, there are many things that we can't recognize at this time, based on our school calendar. Many students will be on Honor Roll, but those lists will not be finalized until grades are due at the end of this week, after finals.
