HOLIDAY CARE PACKAGES FOR ACTIVE HAZLET SERVICE PEOPLE

Hazlet Township Police Department is one of three drop off locations to collect items to send to our active military heroes for the Holidays. Here is a list of items on our hometown soldiers wish list:

Please drop off any donations before December 1st. Other locations you can drop items off at include The Max-Hazlet and Hazlet Townhall.

Hazlet Township Fire District regrets to announce the passing of Anthony D. Kozielski of Hazlet Fire Company #1.

Anthony was a 56 year Active Life Member of the Company. During his many years of service he served as Department Chief, Fire Commissioner, and a past Fire Company President. Rest in Eternal Peace Chief.

Hazlet Fire District sends its sincere condolences to the Baltimore City Fire Department as well as the families of the fallen Firefighters.

On the morning of January 24th, three members of the Fire Department lost their lives when a collapse happened inside the fire building while in performance of their duties.

FF/EMT John McMaster is the fourth member injured, he is currently in fair condition in the hospital we offer prayers to him on his recovery.

The photo of the fire is of the crew of Engine 14 preparing to make entry. A reminder of how series and how real this profession can get in a hurry.

Rest Easy fellow brothers and sister, we shall take it from here.
