Diamond Fire Company #2 of Hazleton Emergency Services The Diamond Fire Company was incorporated in September,1889. The station is located at 624 N. Church St.

The charter name is originally known as the Diamond Engine, Hose, Hook and Ladder Company #2 of Hazleton. which is currently the third location of the company. The current Company officers are:

All officers with the exception of our relief association delegates are elected to 4 year terms. Relief association delegates are 2 year terms. Company meeting are held every Thursday at 8:00 PM. We also have a class of junior members who can start at 14 years old with a parent member and 16 years old without. Those wishing to seek membership may apply in person at any company meeting. The station and engine is manned 24/7 by a paid driver supplied by the City.

Diamond Chief John Paletski, Jr., presented certificates of training to the firefighters who attended the Holmatro Rescue Tool training which was conducted by ESI. The training centered on the implementation of the new tools by the Hazleton City Fire Department. Pictured are Captain John Paletski, III, and Asst. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our bingo fundraiser yesterday ! Even though we had a hiccup to start the day, it still turned out great. We had 154 players yesterday so it was our biggest turnout in our 26 years of bingo games !

The Diamond Fire Company will be staffing the adult beverage tent for this very worthwhile event. Come join us!
