THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

We're overwhelmed by your generous donations for our Blue Santa Christmas in July fundraiser for our child victim, Johnny. Thanks to your support, Johnny is getting a great fresh start and has seen the support from complete strangers. This kiddo had so many people near him let him down and yet the Hazleton Area has stepped up to show this broken kid the love he so deserves!!!

Johnny's Story:
Because this is an active case, we can't share many details. What we can tell you is that Johnny is just 16 years old and has survived more than most people could imagine. After enduring years of physical, emotional, and mental abuse, he was left with injuries he'll carry for the rest of his life.

Recently, Johnny found the courage to come forward and tell his story. That decision has given him a chance at a new beginning, but it also means starting over from scratch. He'll soon be moving into a new living arrangement where he'll receive support while learning to live independently.

What has inspired us most is Johnny's outlook on life. Throughout this entire process, he has never focused on what he has lost. Instead, he told us his dream is to become a social worker, "to help other kids who went through what I did."

He hasn't asked for new clothes, new shoes, or decorations for his new home, even though he's gone without so much. But we know every gift, no matter how big or small, will remind him that an entire community is standing behind him.

We're also currently accepting gift cards to:
Walmart
Target
Sheetz
Uber
Uber Eats
American Eagle
Kohl's

And we've created an Amazon Wish List to make donating easy:

https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/2KOTNN3EBN5DP?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ggr-subnav-share_2CE620WZFYEF0JFE9NHT

Starting over is hard. Starting over at 16 without the love and support of your parents is even harder.

Let's show Johnny that he isn't alone. Together, we can give him more than just the things he needs—we can give him hope, encouragement, and a reminder that there are people who believe in him and are rooting for his future.
