The Healdton Fire Department would like to thank all the neighboring departments and businesses that assisted us over the last 5 days during the Wildland fires at No Man & Radar Rd and No Man & Oil City.
Your quick response, continuous ground support, and donations of food and drink were essential to battling these fires and keeping our crews going.

* Sometimes the use of fireworks or other activities that create sparks.

Violating a burn ban can result in fines or other penalties and if your fire causes a wildfire, you could also be held responsible for the damages.

With grass fires burning around our area, smoke can travel for miles and affect the air we breathe.

Children, older adults, and anyone with asthma, COPD, heart disease, or another lung condition should be especially careful. Try to spend less time outside, keep windows and doors closed, and set your HVAC system to recirculate. If you need to be outdoors, a properly fitted N95 can help reduce exposure to smoke particles.

Pay attention to how you feel. If breathing becomes difficult or your symptoms worsen, Exceptional Community Hospital Ardmore is open 24/7 at 1641 Woerz Way.

🚒🔥 War Day - Carter County 🔥🚒

War Day has now been declared for August 24, 2026 till 9pm!

The Carter County Emergency Management has declared War Day till 9pm, signaling high fire danger conditions across the county.

🚨 What This Means
• Conditions are extremely favorable for fire spread.
• 3 fire departments will automatically be toned out for every fire call.
• Many firefighters are at their regular daytime jobs, so available resources may be limited.

🔥 How You Can Help
• Do NOT burn brush, trash, or debris.
• Avoid activities that create sparks (welding, grinding, outdoor machinery used in dry grass).
• Secure trailer chains and avoid parking on dry grass.
• Properly discard ci******es — never toss them outside!

Your generosity helps us keep our gear, tools and trucks up to date, allowing our firefighters to better serve the Healdton community. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support!

Huge thank you to the Healdton Elementary PTO for having us out today for the Color Run! ☀️

It’s always such a blast getting to be part of these fun events..not only for the kiddos but for our guys too! There’s just something about spraying water and watching the kids run around laughing that makes for a pretty great day. 😆

We loved being a small part of all the fun today and can’t wait to do it again next year! ❤️💙💛💚
