Hearne ISD welcomes Coach Rogers!

Coach Jeff Rogers brings a proven record of success and leadership to Hearne ISD. Most recently, he led the Marlin Athletic program as the Athletic Director/Head Football coach. He led the Bulldog football team to a Division I District, Bi-District, Area, and Regional Championship game, and reached the state quarterfinals.

Under his leadership, the Marlin Athletic program earned statewide recognition, including a Top 10 ranking by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and MaxPreps, Boys Basketball State Semi-Finalist, Girls Basketball Regional Finalists, and Girls Volley Bi District Finalists.

Rogers was named District 8-2A Head Coach of the Year and was also recognized as Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 2A Coach of the Week during Week 14 of the 2024 season.

“I am honored and excited to join Hearne ISD. I want to thank the school board, hiring committee and administration for this opportunity. This community has a strong tradition and pride in its athletics. I look forward to building relationships with our student-athletes, coaches, and community while developing a culture of discipline, accountability, and excellence.”

¡El Distrito Escolar Independiente de Hearne le da la bienvenida al entrenador Rogers!

El entrenador Jeff Rogers aporta una trayectoria comprobada de éxito y liderazgo al Distrito Escolar Independiente de Hearne. Recientemente, dirigió el programa deportivo de los Marlins como Director Atlético y Entrenador Principal de Fútbol Americano. Lideró al equipo de fútbol americano de los Bulldogs a los campeonatos de Distrito, Bi-Distrito, Área y Regional de la División I, y alcanzó los cuartos de final estatales.

Bajo su liderazgo, el programa deportivo de los Marlins obtuvo reconocimiento estatal, incluyendo una clasificación entre los 10 mejores por Dave Campbell’s Texas Football y MaxPreps, semifinales estatales de baloncesto masculino, finalistas regionales de baloncesto femenino y finalistas bi-distrito de voleibol femenino.

Rogers fue nombrado Entrenador Principal del Año del Distrito 8-2A y también fue reconocido como Entrenador de la Semana de Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 2A durante la semana 14 de la temporada 2024.
