Throwback Thursday:

In June of 2020 Raccoon Holler Wilderness Area was born.

Also in June of 2020, the first edition Raccon Holler sign was stolen, gone without a trace.

Through fundraising efforts we were able to replace the sign with a bigger and better sign and since then Raccoon Holler has grown to be a local landmark and attraction with a five star Google rating, a can target, and it’s own online merchandise store. In 10 years, you might see Raccoon Holler on Aerial America or on the National Register of Historic Places.

The original sign showed back up near the Holler about a year later with no explanation. Someone took it and brought it back. 😮 We’d like to know what happened back in 2020 and what adventures the sign got up to in that year. If you have any information, feel free to comment or DM us. Hello Raccoon Holler Fans and Haters

We have some leftover shirts from the 2nd 1st Bi-Annual Raccoon Holler Wilderness Area Rabies Awareness Effingham Pizza Hut and Taco Rail Memorial Golf Outing and Hot Dog Eating Contest Spring Shootout 2023 @ Salt Creek Country Club.

The front features our signature crest on the left chest. 1 small and 2 medium, $10 each

Raccoon Holler is projected to have 1m40s of totality. WOW!

Please join us down in the holler for the 1st Annual Raccoon Holler Total Solar Eclipse Festival!

Perks include:
• Free trash!
• Target practice for cans
• Live entertainment (birds singing, wind blowing, cars passing, animal carcass spotting, maybe even a train horn from across 45
•Free creek water (not for human consumption)
•Modern Art installations (guardrail graffiti)
