Are you a caregiver for someone who is cognitively challenged? Alzheimer’s, Dementia? Or you want to know more about resources available in Northumberland County for a family member, neighbor or friend who has cognitive challenges? Please join Bay Aging at Mid-County Volunteer Rescue Squad (7990 Northumberland Hwy in Hesthsville) for a Memory Cafe on September 8, 2026 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. The Cafe will continue each month on the second Tuesday. Free refreshments, coffee and pastries will be provided.

Our Community is always Amazing us. Carol Fox, grandaughter of Carol and Carter Fox wanted to give back to the community, so with the help of Bill Crowther and Lilian Lumber Company in Burgess, she sold lemonade and donated the proceeds to us!!! And Lilian Lumber Company matched what she made!!! It is this thoughtfulness that makes our community Great! Carol's example during her summer break is much appreciated by our all volunteer department and will be put to good use! Thank You for your Support!!!
