"After about 5 years and several failed attempts, I think I was finally successful in making this “bowl from a board.”

It is approximately 10 ½” tall and 9 ½” in diameter. The woods are maple, walnut, purple heart, mahogany, and sycamore." --Jim Walker, Sept 2021

Did you know?
The common expression "Knock on Wood" comes from the belief (held in many traditions, including Japanese and Native American,) that wood spirits live inside of trees and things made of wood. When you "knock on wood," you are asking the spirits in the wood to use their magic to protect or benefit you in some way.
Very "Druid," huh?
(I can just knock on my head, of course!)
