Attention Wasatch County Taxpayers:

The County Council unanimously approved a 50% increase to income limits for Senior Abatement and Homeowner’s Property Tax Credit. I worked with tax officials and staff to help make this happen, focusing on supporting families and seniors.

Please help spread the word: If you know a senior, please check if they qualify for this relief!

Affordability is challenge across Utah, and eliminating state taxes on Social Security benefits (like SB 007) is another step we can take to help with the issue.

We are starting up our falls prevention class next week. This class is to help get stronger and to avoid falls. Class starts October 15th at 1:00-2:45. It will be held every Tuesday for 7 weeks. It is FREE to attend.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this class and is interested you can call the senior center 435-654-4920 or Kristen Anderson 435-657-3502 to sign up.
