Fair Days has always been one of my favorite traditions in Wasatch County.
Serving this community over the past 25 years has given me the opportunity to be part of Fair Days in many different ways.

When I first joined the Wasatch County Sheriff's Office, I had the honor of marching in the Fair Days Parade as part of the Color Guard. A few years later, I was driving the D.A.R.E. car through the parade. As my career continued, I spent many years helping with traffic and public safety when the parade route ran down Main Street.
Beyond the parade, I've had the privilege of patrolling the rodeo, carnival, concerts, demolition derby, and so many other Fair Days events. My favorite part has always been meeting people, visiting with families, and seeing friends old and new. Those conversations remind me why I chose a career in public service.

This year's parade was especially meaningful. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces along the route. Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, shouted my name, shook my hand, or stopped to give me a hug. Those moments meant more to me than you know. Your kindness, encouragement, and support are deeply appreciated, and they remind me how fortunate I am to serve this incredible community.

Wasatch County isn't just where I work. It's home. I've had the privilege of serving this community for 25 years, and I know our traditions, our values, and the people who make this county such a special place.
As your Sheriff, I will continue to be part of Fair Days and the many other events that bring our community together, because I've always believed a sheriff should be present, approachable, and actively involved in the community they serve.

Thank you to everyone who makes Fair Days one of the best weeks of the year. It is an honor to be part of this community, and I look forward to continuing to serve Wasatch County for many years to come.

I had a great time celebrating Pioneer Day in Wallsburg and Charleston. It was wonderful seeing so many friends, and neighbors, and meeting new people at the parades.

I also enjoyed kicking off Wasatch County Fair Days by attending two nights of the demolition derby. For the past 25 years, this has been one of my favorite times of the year. There’s nothing quite like coming together to celebrate the people, traditions, and community that make Wasatch County such a special place to call home.

I’ll also be participating in the Wasatch County Fair Parade on Saturday at 4:00 pm, and I’d love to see you there! If you see me along the route, please say hello. I always enjoy visiting with members of our community.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet so many of you and look forward to seeing everyone throughout Fair Days!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Independence Day as we celebrate 250 years of our nation’s history.

Thank you for taking the time to vote, for your support, and for lending your voice throughout this journey. I am incredibly grateful for every conversation, every text message, every phone call, every comment, every share, and every word of encouragement.

Over the past six months, I have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes, visiting our home, sharing your thoughts and concerns, and allowing me the opportunity to get to know you better.

This experience has been filled with meaningful conversations, new friendships, and countless moments that I will never forget. The kindness, support, and positive energy you have shown me and my family have been truly humbling.

No matter what comes next, I am thankful for every moment of this journey and for every person who has been a part of it. The relationships built along the way are something I will always cherish.

I am grateful to have worked for many years with Tibby Milne. She is one of the greatest advocates for children and crime prevention that I have ever met. I am honored to be endorsed by her.

If you have already voted for me, THANK YOU. I am genuinely grateful for your trust and support.

If you have not voted yet, here is what you need to know:

Mail-in ballots must be returned by 8:00 PM tomorrow. There are multiple drop-off locations across Wasatch County. Find the nearest one at vote.utah.gov.

You can also vote in person tomorrow at the Wasatch County Administration Building. Polls close at 8:00 PM.

A vote for Jeremy Hales is a vote for:

-A sheriff who is present
-Integrity
-Accountability
-Improved relationships with other agencies and cities
