Today, we honor the men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it is a time to remember the sacrifice of those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry that loss every day.

Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten. Because of them, we enjoy freedoms that so many paid the ultimate price to defend.

As we spend time with family and friends today, take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.

🇺🇸 “All gave some, some gave all.” 🇺🇸

🚫 Burn Ban Reminder 🚫

Yes, it is currently raining, but Cleburne County is still under a burn ban at this time. We will notify everyone as soon as the ban is lifted.

While the rain is helpful, we still need significantly more to improve ongoing drought conditions. Once the rain stops and we get a day or two of sunshine, things dry out very quickly.

Please continue to avoid any outdoor burning.

🚫 Burn Ban Reminder 🚫

Cleburne County remains under a burn ban. Absolutely no open burning is allowed.

Wildfire risk is expected to be even higher tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st. Please use extreme caution and help us prevent unnecessary fires.

Please help us keep our community safe.

A combination of sustained winds between 10 to 15 mph, wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph (35+ mph in the higher terrain) coupled with continued dry conditions and dry fuels will lead to an elevated wildfire danger on Tuesday, especially Tuesday afternoon.
