Marine CPL Jason S. Clairday from Salem, Arkansas was killed in action December 12, 2004 in Anbar Province, Iraq. Corporal Clairday served in the United States Marine Corps, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base, out of Camp Pendleton, Calif.

Corporal Clairday was awarded the Navy Cross (posthumously) for his actions on this day.

SPC Reece served with the US Army, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, out of Fort Bragg, N.C.
