Conner High School opened its doors for the first time on October 15, 1970 with less than 600 students in grades 10 - 12. It was built as a result of the overcrowded conditions at Boone County High School. The land for the new school was donated by the Conner family, and it was decided that the school would be named in rememberance of this generous donation. Construction problems delayed its openi

ng , and school started with two classes and two teachers in one classroom at Conner Junior High School. Since the athletic facilities were not finished, football and basketball games were played at Boone County High School. Paul Hogan was selected to be the principal, Hilliard Collins the Assistant Principal, Don Bornhorst was the guidance counselor and Carlton Anderson was the athletic director. Jerry Risch served as the first head football coach and Bill Warfield as the head basketball coach. The athletic season highlight for that year was winning the 33rd district basketball tournament.

Reminder to our graduates - diploma/gown exchange is this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (6/2-6/4) from 8:30-12:30. If you are unable to make it in during those times, you can stop in the main office from 7:30-3:00 Monday-Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays during summer break.

Senior portraits with Prestige are now open for scheduling. These photos will appear in the yearbook, the hallway class composite, and the graduation video shown on the NKU jumbotron. Book your session by November 12.
