We are still hunting 8 spots.
1,2,3,4,5,7,9, and 10
Harvest-223 ducks.
Conditions very slowly improving in the middle blinds.
Still a ways away from hunting those.
Back blinds ???

Will be deciding factor.
Luck and rain is what we need back there.

Until we get some rain the blind line up
will not change . Hunting Blinds

Weather forecast for the next few days could bring some fresh water and birds in to our region.

No change this week in our lineup.

Water in the middle and back units is improving. However it's going to be a while before we are able to hunt those blinds.

GKM Flooding Update
River at 5.67ft. at Shelby
We are going to be hunting the following blinds this weekend.
1,2,3,4,5,7,9 and 10
8 spots total.
As water gets better we will add spots
As of today we have harvested 123 birds
Water is improving in the back unit. At about 60%.
If you can make it rain please do so!

GKM Flooding Update
River at Shelby 4.16ft.
We will hunting 7 blind's for the waterfowl opening weekend.
Blinds 1 thru 5
9 and 10
Unfortunately the drought conditions still are hampering flooding in other blind locations.
We will be adding locations as they become available.
Cost to waterfowl hunt at GKM are as follows
$10.00 a day
$5.00 youth/senior.
Parties of 3 or 4 to draw .
Draw time 4:30 am daily.
This page will be updated Monday and Thursday through the waterfowl season.

GKM Flooding Update

River at Shelby 4.39 ft
For this weekend we will be hunting 7 blind's
Those are 1 thru 5
9 and 10.
There is no charge for this weekends hunt.

Water in those spots is at 85% to 90%.
Crops being harvest at the time of this post. Should be out by Saturday or Sunday.
Flooding there will begin once the crop is out.
Next update Thursday Oct. 16th

2025 Flooding Update
River at Shelby is 4.29ft.
We are into our 3rd week of flooding.
Water in front side is at 75% capacity.
Middle Unit is mostly dry at this point.
Back unit waiting on corn harvest. That will start this week.
It's dry folks. Unfortunately that seems to be the trend over the last 4 or 5 years.
We will be updating this page Thursday.
