Sunday, May 24, 2026. Motor Vehicle Collision with roll-over. Paramedic A-5, Ladder 5 and Engine 507 responded for a vehicle accident with roll-over on westbound Ocean Gateway near Rockawalkin Road. Paramedic A-5 transported one patient with minor injuries.

For Sale by Sealed Bids

The Hebron Volunteer Fire Department is accepting sealed bids on the following unit. Bids must be received by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2026. Bids must be sent in writing to the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department at P.O. Box 300, Hebron Maryland 21830 and labeled “SEALED BID FOR ENGINE”. Any questions can be directed to Fire Chief Mike Carbaugh at [email protected] or contacting the station at 410-749-3037

The unit is currently still in service and will be used until it is sold. Unit will be sold “As Is”, with no warranty. The Hebron Volunteer Fire Department has the right to reject all bids. Arrangements can be made to view the unit at any time, by contacting the fire chief at the above address.

April 21, 2026. Wicomico Fire Box 5-1, reported house fire on S. Main Street in Hebron. Photos of units on-scene. Hebron, Salisbury, Mardela Springs and Delmar responded. A small fire was located under the house and extinguished. South Main Street was closed between Chestnut Street and Old Railroad Road during the incident.

On behalf of the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our 100-Year Anniversary. Your support, smiles, and community spirit made this milestone truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to all the departments, participants, and spectators who made our parade and open house such a success. Congratulations to our parade winners listed below! Your hard work, dedication, and support truly stood out, and we appreciate the time and effort each of you put into making the event so memorable.

To our families, supporters, and neighbors, thank you for always standing behind us and helping us continue our mission. To our dedicated members— past and present— thank you for your commitment, sacrifice, and service over the last century.

This celebration wasn’t just about looking back—it was about honoring the strong community that carries us forward.
