Water Meter Replacement Notice 💧

Village of Hebron Water Customers,

The Village of Hebron is replacing existing water meter transmitting units to improve operational efficiency and customer service. There is no cost to water customers for this replacement.

The Village has contracted with ALLDRIVE to complete the installations. Throughout November, ALLDRIVE workers will be in the Village completing these replacements. Workers will wear clothing displaying the ALLDRIVE logo. These workers are contracted by the Village of Hebron and are not solicitors.👷🏼🗓

You may receive notification letters or door hangers from ALLDRIVE for you to schedule. Each replacement appointment should take approximately 10–20 minutes. Failure to schedule an appointment may result in interruption of water service.

Volunteers are meeting at Canal Park at 10 AM and will be cleaning up Seniors homes that asked for assistance with exterior projects! Want to help? Bring gloves and come to Canal Park at 10 AM, lunch is provided. It's a fun way to meet neighbors and help in your community! ❤

🚨 LICKING COUNTY DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER (DRC) OUTREACH EVENT

The Licking County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security continues to work with our state and federal partners to make disaster recovery resources more accessible to our residents.

With the Disaster Recovery Center currently operating in Reynoldsburg, we understand that traveling to that location may not be convenient for everyone. To help bring these resources closer to home, we are coordinating a two-day DRC outreach event in Hebron.

Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be on site to answer questions, provide information, and assist residents who were impacted by the severe weather events that occurred between August 10–22, 2026.

West Licking Joint Fire District Awarded Nearly $891,000 in Federal Grants

West Licking Fire District has been awarded two 2025 federal grants totaling $890,569.65 to strengthen emergency response capabilities, replace essential firefighting equipment and expand staffing.

The district received $219,940.90 through the 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grant. The funding will help purchase 27 sets of turnout gear, 3,900 feet of 5-inch supply hose, 70 sections of 3-inch supply hose and several attack nozzles.

West Licking Fire District also received $670,628.75 through the 2025 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grant. The award will support the hiring of three full-time firefighters, increasing the district’s capacity to serve the community and respond to emergencies.

Together, the awards will provide the district with critical protective equipment, upgraded water-supply capabilities and additional staffing to support safe, effective emergency response.

Saturday in Hebron we celebrated the Historic National Road and its important role in building our nation! 🇺🇸

The celebration allowed us to speak on the history of the National Road, Licking County, and to celebrate some present history in Hebron!

Mayor Valerie Mockus presented Hebron resident Trevor Kline with a proclamation honoring his incredible racing accomplishment, which carried our village’s name all the way to Germany!

The festivities also brought the 17th Annual Hebron Naz Car and Truck Show to the heart of Hebron, bringing car enthusiasts together to celebrate the Historic National Road and to symbolize the many travelers who have passed through the Crossroads of Ohio!

Congratulations, Trevor, and thank you to our guest speakers Howard Long with the Ohio National Road Association, Tim Bubb with the Licking County Commissioners for celebrating with us!

A special dedication ceremony was held Saturday morning at Station 406 to celebrate 100 years of fire service to the Hebron community. ❤️

During the ceremony, the West Licking Joint Fire District dedicated Station 406 as the “House of Donard” in honor of longtime former firefighter and Hebron resident Donard Myers. 🚒

Myers was also named the station’s honorary house captain in recognition of his years of service and lasting contributions to our community!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - PLEASE SHARE 🚧

North High Street in the Village of Hebron will be closed on Saturday, October 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 17th Annual Hebron Nazarene Car and Truck Show.

The closure includes sections of North High Street:

• From Main Street (U.S. 40) to North Street
• From North Street to Elm Street

The intersection of North High Street and North Street will remain open, and access to Park National Bank will be maintained. Additionally, Fitch Brothers Way will be closed between West Main St. and Cully St.

Please plan an alternate route and watch for pedestrians near the event. Thank you for your cooperation!

Join us for the Ohio National Road Celebration in Hebron this Saturday, October 10th, from 12–2 PM at the Hebron Village Center, 9 W. Main Street, as we celebrate the road that helped shape our nation and our Village.

Enjoy live music from TNT Bluegrass , food trucks from OX-B's & Sip & Graze Co., a few guest speakers, plus this year the Annual Hebron Naz Car and Truck Show will be located in the Heart of Hebron to join in on the celebration! 🎶

🚨 **IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR LICKING COUNTY**

**Licking County has been approved for federal disaster assistance following the severe storms and flooding that impacted our area in August.** The Presidential Major Disaster Declaration includes Licking County along with six other Ohio counties.

For our residents affected by the **August 20 flooding**, this is an important step in the recovery process.

The declaration activates FEMA’s **Individual Assistance Program**, which may provide assistance for eligible disaster-related needs such as temporary housing, home repairs, rental assistance and replacement of personal property. Federal disaster assistance may also include other programs, and low-interest disaster loans may be available through the Small Business Administration.

**Residents with disaster-related losses can begin applying for assistance through FEMA.**

LCEMA will be working with the Ohio Emergency Management Agency beginning Monday to gather additional information and make sure our affected residents understand the process and what resources are available.
