WTNH has upgraded our area to a Moderate risk for a tornado today. Don't be alarmed, CT tornadoes tend to be small, but keep an eye on the weather, especially this evening until midnight. Either way, we might have some strong winds and maybe a few power outages later.

07/17/2026

Potential for strong t-storms with damaging winds and heavy rain tomorrow afternoon and evening. If one develops over us, there could be some power outages. Please respect traffic cones and FIRE LINE tape and stay at least 30 feet away from any downed wires.

Happy 4th, everyone! Stay cool and safe.

Here comes the extreme heat. If you have elderly neighbors, please check in on them as this heat wave progresses. It can be especially hard on them. Also, keep your pets cool and hydrated.
