Town of Hebron, CT Emergency Management and CERT

CERT members received Animal First Aid training provided by Paul Badeau, DMV and two vet techs from Bolton Veterinary Hospital. Training included bleeding control, burns/smoke inhalation, snake bites, and transportation of injured pets. CERT members have these skills to assist pets removed from burning buildings and Search and Rescue K9s injured on the job. We carry special equipment in our truck to support these incidents. Many thanks to the staff of Bolton Veterinary Hospital for donating their time to provide this important training.
