Warning: Eversource & Direct Energy Scam
We have been notified of a current scam involving a scammer calling and saying that they are an Eversource representative or an associated third-party energy supplier such as Direct Energy. They commonly use scare tactics, such as threatening immediate power disconnection, and demand immediate payment (often in the amount of $900) to rectify the matter. If you receive such a call, immediately hang up and notify Eversource Customer Service at 800-286-2000
