🌿✨ We are thrilled to welcome Gwen back to the Elizabeth B. Pert Library for another creative and fun workshop!

This time, participants can choose to create either a beautiful natural spring wreath or a whimsical fairy garden to take home and enjoy.

If you plan to attend, please let us know so we can prepare enough materials. You may register by emailing [email protected], stopping by or calling 607-546-2605

Feel free to bring along any special items you'd like to incorporate into your creation, small treasures, decorations, or natural elements are all welcome!

This workshop is free and open to all thanks to the generous support of the Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.

Do you have a youth interested in mystery books and solving mysteries? Stop by our 4-H Forensic's club at the Elizabeth B Pert Library in Hector NY, June 23rd for a fun who-done-it STEM experience!

This FREE event is perfect for young wannabe sleuths ages 8-18 years old looking to solve a "crime" with their forensic science skills.

Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

🍕 Slice of History – Coming to Hector Library! 📚✨

History doesn’t have to stay in the textbooks. Join us for Slice of History, a fun, family-friendly program where local stories meet conversation, community… and pizza.

Hosted by Schuyler County Libraries in partnership with the Schuyler County Historical Society, NY, this drop-in event invites all ages to explore the people, places, and moments that shaped our region and beyond.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our Library Budget Vote! We had a wonderful turnout of 95 voters, and we’re thrilled to share that the budgets passed with 100% approval (95 YES, 0 NO).

We’d also like to recognize and thank the incredible volunteers from both Watkins Glen and Elizabeth B. Pert Memorial Library who helped make the day run so smoothly. Your time, energy, and dedication mean so much to our libraries and our community.
