In order to try to help prevent property fraud in Cleburne County we implemented the Real Estate Activity Alert and Contact Tool (REAACT) program last year. If you haven't signed up it is a simple process and I would encourage you to do so. Thanks to the Commission we were able to implement this program at no cost to the public. UPDATE: Water has been restored to downtown Heflin. We will be operating under normal business hours today. We would like to thank the Heflin Water Department for their quick response and repairs this morning.

The Cleburne County Probate Office will be closing at 10:30 am today due to a water line break in the downtown Heflin area. If water service is restored before 10:30 our office will remain open. If we are forced to close early today we will be extending the grace period one day for late fees associated with tag renewals. We will post updates to this page as needed.
