The countdown is on! This Thursday from 4-8 is your chance to get a great meal at Texas Roadhouse & help support the Fire company all at the same time. Just show the attached flier to your server & 10% of your bill will go to the fire company. If you prefer a paper flier, you can get them at the post office in Heilwood, Manor Motors in Penn Run or Alverda service station.

Looking for something to do this weekend??? Our brothers & sisters at the Clymer Volunteer Fire Company #1 are hosting Central District Convention. There will be music, food, basket raffle, co****le, parade & all kinds of activities. Go support the folks that volunteer to help you 24/7.

We have had many inquiries about groups/floats/classic cars entering the parade.

Local folks - our friends at Cedar Hill Bakery and Maple Ridge Groceries in Strongstown have a LOAD of pineapples, yes - pineapples!!! The pic only shows about half of them. There are 6 to a box and there’re selling them for $4.50 per box. So go see them & make all the pineapple upside down cake, pineapple preserves, pineapple pizza, etc that you can dream of!
And while you’re there - grab yourself a donut, fry pie, muffin or fresh bread - it’s all delicious!!!

We were recently granted 200 DripDrop electrolyte hydration packs thanks to the great folks at National Volunteer Fire Council and DripDrop! We are excited to have some on each one of our pieces of apparatus because sometimes, water just isn’t enough to keep firefighters going on hot days!
Both flavors are great but the crowd favorite at our station is the watermelon!🍉 ❤️
