*Update* 7:01PM - 10/22/26 - Crews have wrapped up on Orange Ave.

City crews are currently responding to multiple water main breaks, one on Orange Ave. and Robert St. and east on Airport Rd. Residents in the affected area may experience temporary water service interruptions while crews work to locate and repair the breaks. Teams are on site and actively addressing the issues.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and asks residents to use caution around work zones and follow any posted traffic or access restrictions. Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

🌳 Over 100 trees, shrubs, and grasses planted! 🌿

The WQPD has been busy this week at the Grizzly Gulch Mine Reclamation Project, planting more than 100 trees, shrubs, and grasses to help bring this site back to life. It look a lot of hard work, sweat, and motivation to complete this project.
Way to go team WQPD !! 🍂

We're entering the final stages of our mine reclamation project - and this week, we're getting our hands dirty planting 80+ trees, shrubs and grasses. 💪

🌱Planting Day at Grizzly Gulch Mine Reclamation Site🌱
If you're available Monday, the 21st, we're planting again up at the GG Site!
Come lend a hand, because apparently, we didn't plant enough the first time. Seriously, some trees didn't survive all the nibbling from the 4-legged animals. Bring gloves and be ready to play in the dirt.

Fall Latex Paint Exchange!

Do you have leftover paint from summer project or want to score free supplies for your next DIY? Our Fall Latex Paint Exchange is back, from Sept. 23-Oct. 7. Join your neighbors in saving money, decluttering, and keeping usable materials out of the landfill.

Transfer Station permit holders can drop off usable latex paint to give it a second life. Any resident can drop by and take home available inventory for free!
