We love this partnership that we have with Helena college. Our kiddos are so lucky! Congratulations Bryant panthers!

Around 40 Bryant fifth graders celebrated their elementary school days with a graduation ceremony at Helena College on Friday.

Bryant first graders were joined by many community helpers and IEFA teacher in the Helena public schools to create drums and how we use those as instruments and ways to express ourselves. These are who to thank:

Rachel Pichardo - Plays Indigenous Flute and talks about the importance of breath.
Terry Johnson - Discusses the relationship of the heartbeat to drumming in the indigenous culture.
Joe Pichardo - Talks about culture of the indigenous people and the importance of music.
Amanda Walkingchild - Talks about childhood experience of learning how to drum and sing. She also sings and plays drum.
Jenny, KC, Terry, Rachel, and Joe assist students making drums and playing the drums. Also help with the round dance.

Bryant School Panthers' Library is getting an upgrade with new books thanks to a ✨Spark Grant✨ by Joice Franzen. As students connect with characters in the books who face challenges, make mistakes, and keep going, they’re building grit and tenacity alongside emotional awareness.
This grant was named in loving memory of Helen Christensen.

Our first grade teams got to experience the Montana historical society today. This was such a fun time! It is also a free resource for our kiddos to go to and there is a fun kids area. We hope you all can make it there sometime!
