"If these allegations are true, Sen. Windy Boy needs to resign immediately. Ethics needs to be a higher priority, and we need to restore the trust of the people in Montana on both sides of the aisle. This is not a partisan thing at all."

-Senate President Matt Regier

Windy Boy, who did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story before publication, has also been asked by Montana's Senate Minority Leader Pat Flowers to resign.

Please join us in thanking Senate President Pro Tempore Ken Bogner for his commitment to serving our nation.

Captain Bogner was recruited as a Civil Affairs Officer for the Army Reserve because of his prior service as a U.S. Marine and elected official.

In order to meet his obligations in this new role, he couldn't run again to serve in the Legislature this cycle.

As a Civil Affairs Officer with a specialty in government and laws, he will act as a liaison between U.S. military forces, foreign governments, and civilian authorities around the world.

Thank you, Senator!

Great news! Congratulations, Katie.

Great news! Congratulations, Katie.

It is an honor to congratulate Katie on her nomination to serve as the next federal judge in Montana. During her two years in my office as deputy solicitor general, Katie played an integral role in defending Montana’s laws and challenging the Biden administration’s unconstitutional mandates. President Trump could not have made a better pick as I am confident she will bring valuable experience and integrity to the bench and look forward to welcoming her back to the state.
