The Family Center, Inc. uses a coordinated community response to help local individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency through a variety of services. The agency is willing and able to assist or refer individuals faced with issues ranging from housing to healthcare to employment. focuses on two major issues: domestic violence and hunger. d women and their children that offer a range of services allowing victims of domestic violence ample time to recover physically, emotionally, and financially in order to empower them to live independent lives free of violence. The agency also assists battered men secure housing and other services as well. To address the issue of hunger in the community, The Family Center, Inc. manages the Food Bank of the Delta, which distributes food to local organizations and churches. In addition, the agency provides local children with breakfast and lunch during the summer months when they are not receiving these meals in school.

A California moving company has been donating its time and labor to help victims of domestic violence move safely and quickly.
