Today is Chief Parker's first day as the Chief of the Helena Fire Department.
Corey Parker is a public safety professional with more than 35 years of progressive leadership experience in the fire and emergency services. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of operational and executive leadership roles, developing extensive expertise in fire and EMS operations, public safety communications, organizational leadership, strategic planning, and public safety administration.
Chief Parker holds a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University, a B.S. in Health and Education from George Mason University, and numerous public safety technical certifications. He previously earned the Credentialed Fire Officer (CFO) designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE), recognizing his commitment to professional excellence and executive leadership in the fire service. He also serves as a Board Officer for The Foundation for First Responder Wellness and Resiliency, supporting initiatives that promote the health, wellness, and resilience of first responders through education, advocacy, and access to critical resources.
