It’s been a busy two weeks at Helenville Fire and Rescue!

🚑Last week our First Responders worked on practical skills and patient care with our medical control team. Training is an important part of keeping current with skills and knowledge. ✅

🚒🧯🚑🚁Last night our Fire Fighters and First Responders worked on a multitude of different skills in a mock scenario involving 6 patients, a vehicle fire, live wires down, a vehicle extrication, patient packaging, landing zones, and scene control/safety. ✅

These trainings are great ways to refresh and refine skills, train new members and ensure equipment is in optimal condition.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Fire Fighter, First Responder, or even being an auxiliary member assisting with department events, please reach out!

Next Week is sever weather awareness week in Wisconsin! The state wide tornado drill will be Thursday April 16 at 1:45pm and 6:45pm! Are you prepared for severe weather? This is a great time to go through your plans and ensure you and your family are prepared.
