🚑🔥 BIG DAY FOR TWO OF OUR FUTURE EMT-BASICS! 🔥🚑

Tonight, Keirah and Jada officially begin their EMT-Basic journey, and we’re excited to cheer them on! 🎉👏

A few fun facts about these two incredible ladies:
🩺 Both are currently pursuing nursing degrees, which includes tackling Microbiology this semester 🧫📚
🏥 Both work full-time at local hospitals
🚑 And now, on top of their nursing programs and full-time careers, they’re adding EMT-Basic class to the mix!
🚒 Somewhere in the middle of school, work, studying, and life, they’ve also found a calling right here at Helenville Fire & Rescue!

Taking on EMT school while balancing everything else is no small commitment. We’re excited to watch Keirah and Jada learn, grow, and take this next step toward serving our community.

🚒💦 **TRAINING TODAY. READY TOMORROW.** 💦🚒

There’s a lot more that goes into getting water to a fire than simply turning on a hose!

Our department recently spent time training on **water shuttle operations, pump operations, radio communications, and teamwork**—all critical skills when responding to fires, especially in areas where fire hydrants may not be readily available.

Training like this gives our members the opportunity to work together, practice coordinating apparatus and water movement, improve communication, and become more efficient with pump operations.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped make our inaugural event such an amazing success. We are truly overwhelmed by the incredible support we received from our community and visitors from near and far.
For our very first show, we learned a great deal, made wonderful memories, and came away inspired by the enthusiasm and encouragement shown by each and every one of you. Your support exceeded our expectations and has laid the foundation for what we hope will become a long-standing community tradition.
Thank you to everyone who proudly brought out a vehicle to showcase, to those who came simply to enjoy the day and support our department, and to everyone who joined us for our chicken dinner, sampled the many delicious food offerings, played bingo, and spent the evening enjoying the live band. Your presence made the event special and created an atmosphere filled with community spirit, laughter, and fun.

A very special thank you goes to our dedicated volunteers, Helenville Fire Department members, generous vendors, sponsors, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. Countless hours of planning and hard work went into making this event a reality, and it would not have been possible without your commitment, teamwork, and passion.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve such a supportive community. Thank you for making our 1st Annual Helenville Fire Department Car, Truck & Tractor Show a day we will never forget.

We are already looking forward to making next year's event even bigger and better.

To everyone who attended, supported, and helped make the Helenville Super Nationals an incredible success—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Events like this simply would not be possible without the unwavering support of so many amazing people. To our community, both near and far, our generous sponsors, dedicated vendors, hardworking track officials, countless volunteers, and the members of the Helenville Fire Department—your time, generosity, and commitment made this weekend one to remember.

Whether you joined us as a spectator, competitor, sponsor, volunteer, or supporter, you played an important role in the success of this event. Your enthusiasm, encouragement, and belief in our department and our mission mean more to us than words can express.

We are truly honored that you chose to spend your weekend with us, creating memories, celebrating our community, and supporting the Helenville Fire Department. Your continued support allows us to serve our community not only during events like this but throughout the entire year.
