It’s official! Proud to take the oath of office today for Helotes City Council Place 1. Thanks to Rich Whitehead Helotes Mayor for administering the oath. I look forward to working with him and my Council colleagues in the days ahead. Time to get to work!

After 25 years, I attended my last meeting of the Helotes Planning and Zoning Commission earlier this week. It was a bittersweet moment. My time on the Commission has helped shape my views of the City and given me experiences that will benefit me as I move on to City Council.

It’s been an honor to work along so many dedicated citizens on the Commission over the years, including Ron Hozza, Alex Blue, Michael McGlothing, Bob Cage, Richard Hawk, Dave Cato, Buck Russel, Helotes City Council Member, Place 5, Jason Wightman, Justin Hansen, Jaime Sandoval, and Anne Carraway, who like me will take her place on City Council later this month.

I am honored to have been elected to Helotes City Council Place 1. Thank you to everyone who supported me during this campaign. It was a lot of hard work but I was privileged to talk with many residents about our City. I look forward to getting to work!
