WOW!!! Our Volunteer Interest Meeting on Monday was GREAT! Our community members really showed up for our library😊 thank you!

We want to keep this momentum growing…so…we’re hosting another Volunteer Interest Meeting in July! Stay tuned for date & time.

Here is a list of our current needs & it’s always growing:

•Summer Reading Program: Every Tuesday, 12 - 1pm this summer! Literacy based programming with a dedicated curriculum. Volunteers could teach the curriculum or support the teacher.

•Story Time: Every Tuesday, 11am - 12pm all year! Pre-school and early school aged children are invited to come to the library to listen to picture books be read to them. Volunteers could read the books or help with snacks.

•Music & Movement: A new ongoing program for youth! Children are invited to explore movement led by dance teacher Mir. Volunteers can help through supporting Mir or marketing the events.

•Silent Book Club: A new ongoing program for adults! Readers are invited to read their books quietly at the gatherings and then talk about them and have snacks! Volunteers can support through attendance or marketing the events.

•Library shifts: Are you interested in an hour or two a week of helping at the library? Do you have high attention to detail? Sign up for a shift!

•Last but definitely not least, your idea!

Thanks everyone!!!💕
