Having Trouble with Libby? I have double good news! The need to reverify is due to our upgraded ILS (integrated library management system) and the fix is very simple although specific.

With the recent upgrade to the library's library management system, the login credentials for Libby have changed slightly and simplified. After reverifying, all of your account history on Libby will be maintained and you can carry on as usual.

THE FIX: If you are asked to verify your library card or you are entering your library card for the first time, your username must specifically be entered in as a Capital P, a space, then the four digits of your library card number. The PIN will then be just the four digits of your library card number. For example, username: "P 0000" PIN: "0000" you would not include the quotation marks when you type them in.

Please feel free to call the library during open hours to have a staff person walk you through it if you have any trouble.

DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
SCHOLARSHIP
The Point of Rock DAR scholarship is open to ANY graduating senior in Box Butte County who is planning on attending any college or trade school. The scholarship is a one-time award of $500.00 that will be paid directly to the college or trade school upon proof of enrollment. Below is a check list of the application requirements along with a short application form that must be submitted with the supporting documentation.

CHECK LIST
() Scholarship Application: Double spaced typed or computer generate.
() Statement of 1,000 words or less setting forth her/his career
objectives.
() Original transcript of high school grades (must indicate Class rank, size and test scores). Home schooled and GED students include transcript for grade 9 through current year, and must have at least 1 connection with Alliance High or Hemingford High.
() Grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
() 2 letters of recommendation.
() List of extra curricular activities, honors received and scholastic achievements.
() Proof of citizenship such as driver’s license or birth certificate.
