The "HCHRC" Henderson Human Rights Commission advances civil rights, employment, housing fairness, and positive community relations.

The Henderson Human Rights Commission charges and investigates allegations of discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodation on the basis of:

Race
Color
Religion
S*x, including S*xual Harassment
Age
Disability
National Origin
Familial Status (in housing)

The HRC provides referrals for complaints outside of its jurisdiction.

Great event today at the 2026 State of the City/County Luncheon!

Thank you to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce for hosting another outstanding event that brought together community leaders, businesses, and organizations committed to making Henderson County stronger.

It was encouraging to hear about the progress being made by the Henderson Lions Club, Henderson Rotary, Mayor Brad Staton, and Judge Executive Brad Schneider, throughout our community and the shared vision for the future.

Our Power Is Our People! Together, we can continue building a stronger, more vibrant Henderson County.

Great day today at John F. Kennedy Park in Henderson for the East End Community Fun Day! It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun, fellowship, and community spirit. It was great to see so many families, friends, and neighbors come together to enjoy this special event.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Henderson, Ms. Lily Pruitt, and the entire planning team for their hard work and dedication in making this day such a success. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all of our sponsors for their generous support and commitment to our community: Your partnership helped make this event possible, and we are truly grateful. Thank you to our event speaker, Mr. Courtney Johnson-Executive Director Young & Established. Your words of encouragement to our community was truly powerful.
