Segler Water Reclamation Facility (WRF)! 🏆 This recognition marks the 22nd consecutive year the facility has received a Peak Performance Award, showcasing an ongoing commitment to excellence and 100% compliance with the Clean Water Act’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits.

1️⃣ Tonight, we were honored to be joined by leaders from the Paseo Verde Little League, US National Champions! We recognize the entire Paseo Verde Little League organization for this tremendous accomplishment. We look forward to the players, their families and coaching staff joining us at our next Council Meeting on September 15 for a special presentation.

2️⃣ We're proud of our Department of Utility Services for being awarded the National Association of Clean Water Agencies 2026 Platinum Peak Performance Award. This marks the 22nd consecutive year the Water Reclamation Facility has received this national recognition in honor of the critical work they do to keep Henderson a healthy, livable and sustainable City.

3️⃣ We recognized our Internal Audit Department, which recently completed its first external peer review, earning the highest possible rating. This unprecedented accomplishment demonstrates our continued commitment to trust, ethics, and reliability, and our strategic priority of providing our residents with High Performing Public Service.

Get ready to adjust those water clocks, Henderson! ⏰

Starting tomorrow, September 1, we officially shift to our Fall Watering Schedule. Through October 31, grass and spray irrigation should be limited to your three assigned days per week.

If you have plants, shrubs, or trees on a drip system, they need even less—running those just two days a week is all it takes to keep them healthy.

While today's World Championship game didn't end with a victory, what an absolute dream season for our Paseo Verde Little League team! ⚾️

From local fields to the global stage in Williamsport, this team showed incredible grit, sportsmanship, and heart every step of the way. Congratulations on an amazing run!

We will be celebrating them later next month... stay tuned for details!
